The Best Mercedes Off-Road Experience

The Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 has seen an amazing tune up and facelift from Masonry, a Swiss tuning company who have an apparent fondness of carbon fiber. This tuneup wasn’t just a makeover though, as various upgrades have given the G500 an extra 52 horsepower and 73 lb-ft of torque. The big secret to this upgrade was a fancy new Exhaust System that allowed the already powerful engine to breath better and function to its full potential.

Outlandish Swiss tuning company Mansory has applied its know-how to the Mercedes G500 4×4², making the standout off-roader even more conspicuous than before.

If you like carbon fibre, Mansory’s take on the G500 4×4² should be right up your alley. The firm has applied a new carbon fibre vented hood, carbon fibre headlight surrounds with LED headlights, carbon fibre fender flares and a carbon fibre roof and spoiler. There’s also carbon fibre door handles, exterior trim and taillamp covers.

Backing up the sporting looks is a lighter and louder sport exhaust system. The exhaust helps the G500 4×4²’s 4.0-litre BiTurbo V8 breath a bit better, resulting in an increase of 52hp and 73 lb-ft of torque for a total of 468hp and 522 lb-ft. Continue Reading
